Funding supports are available. Research topics include Distributed Geographical Information System (e.g. OGC, Spatial P2P, and Social Networks), Ubiquitous Spatial Computing and Spatial Sensor Web.Interested applicants need to have a strong background in Geomatics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering Excellent programming skills, preferably in Java or C, are desired. The University of Calgary's Department of Geomatics Engineering is actively involved in all aspects of geomatics engineering, such as Positioning and Navigation, Earth Observation, GIS, and Digital Imaging Systems.
