I think it's possible, my sister likes to speak in British accent,
but I prefer American one.
However, both of us can uderstand both British and American English quite well,
I know she can speak in both accents. As to me, I'm not as good as she is in
British one.

That's good for you. You may like to try to watch Discovery and Animal Channel
or HBO etc.
I learn a lot by watching and listening to movies or some TV programs and
series.
Friends is a good series for you to have fun in learning English.
Anything is possible, just try harder and never give up!
