Hello Amos,
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I discussed your concerns with
Cristen Casey, Director of the International Student Services Office. She
informed me that this concern had been addressed in the past year. The ISSO
worked with other UT Dallas departments to update our systems to display
Taiwan.
There are systems that the ISSO, nor UT Dallas have control. If the online
application you refer to is the applytexas.org, that is managed by a state
agency. In addition, USCIS and DHS may show the country listing differently,
and we would not be able to change that.
If you can find contact information for the online application system,
perhaps you (and others) may want to voice their concerns with them.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance."
由信中可得知
國籍的database是state agency在維護而不是學校
而這個網站似乎是全德州大學的申請系統
所以若有板友也是申請德州大學的話
可能也會遇到同樣的問題
所以希望若有遇到同樣問題的板友
方便的話抽空寫信至這個網站抗議
