[問題] 請教一個主動詞一致的問題(who)

問個「超級翰將」講義第一冊碰到的文法問題 Who is/are Tom and John playing with? 我覺得是are,因為主詞明顯是Tom and John, 那個who是經由Wh-movement (學過syntax的老師就知道了,囧)才到前面的, 應該是受詞,可以寫成whom。 但是講義寫is,學校也有老師說答案是is... 為什麼? Who are you talking about 的are, 不也是因為you 嗎?也不會因為who 變成is吧...@@ 覺得要用is的老師 理由不外乎說who是個不知道是單數還是複數的主詞 所以要視為單數 我覺得如果說who視為單數的話, 應該也要是who當主詞的時候, 例如下一句 Who is playing with John and Tom? 至於是不是主詞,把它放在間接問句就知道了... 1 I was wondering [Who Tom and John "are" playing with.] 這句用is明顯是不行的,可知John and Tom才是主詞。 2 I was wondering [Who is playing with John and Tom.] 這句不能用are,因為這句who是主詞, 在不知道是誰的情況下視為單數。 以上是我的分析 所以我認為 Who is/are Tom and John playing with? 應該用are才對 應該是講義寫錯了... 不知道各位老師的意見如何? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 123.192.2.28
