Entry requirements, fees and apply
Admission requirements
The requirements for unconditional entry to the MSc TESOL are as follows:
A first degree equivalent to UK Undergraduate degree awarded at 2.2 classification or better;
Relevant professional experience of one year or more;
English language proficiency of IELTS 7, with no sub-test (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) less than 6, or equivalent: TOEFL score (600), TOEFL Computer-based test (CBT) score (250), and Cambridge Proficiency in English (CPE) grade C;
A commitment to learning in TESOL or Applied Linguistics which accords with the aims of the programme.
Applicants who do not meet these requirements may be accepted as exceptional entrants, or may be made conditional offers.
