[請益] 法定準備金的計算
At one time, the country of Sylvania had no banks,
but had currency of $10 million. Then a banking system was established with
a reserve requirement of 20 percent.
The people of Sylvania now keep half their money in the form of currency
and half in the form of bank deposits. If banks do not hold excess reserves,
how much currency do the people of Sylvania now hold???
我翻了中文書和原文書,好像比較少有這類題目在解釋計算的方法,
答案是:$8.33 million
有人可以指點該從哪裡開始計算嗎??
我的想法:因為currency $10 million,reserve requirment=20%
所以準備金為 $2 million, 那題目說二分之ㄧ變成存款,
而currency變成 $5 million,只是我不知道是不是還要再算一次準備金??
