[單字] notorious?
這篇文章大概是說watercolor的演進之類的，其中出現如下句子：
The English have a notorious love for the outdoors and also a great fondness
_________
for small intimate pictures.
請問這裡為什麼用notorious來修飾love? 一般字典寫它是用修飾something bad居多。
我是猜測這裡是為了文章需要而故意的反諷手法。不知道大家的見解如何？
