[文法] 動名詞與不定詞當補語的差異
我知道不定詞與動名詞皆可當主詞補語，
我把兩題例句給挖空，
1. The best way is _____ her the truth.
A. to tell B. telling
2. Her hobby is ______ stamps.
A. to collect B. collecting
答案分別是A跟B，
我的疑問是，以第一題來說，
The best way is to tell her the truth.
------------ ---------------------

有些情況主詞與主詞補語是可以互換的，上面那句即可互換，
因此可改成
To tell her the truth is the best way.
但依據我的經驗，主詞中有動詞出現時，更常見或更自然的是動名詞開頭，而非不定詞
甚至使用不定詞是錯的(應該說外國人不這麼用)，或者是較不正式的、較不常見

像是第二題
Her hobby is collecting stamps. 可換成
Collecting stamps is her hobby. 所以第二題選B沒問題
因為 To collect stamps is her hobby. 並不是很natural
但
To tell her the truth is the best way.
跟
Telling her the truth is the best way.
哪一個較好，或者兩者有不同情境下使用？

那請問一下，眼見為憑
到底是To see is to believe或是Seeing is believing
因為google的話，兩者都有人說，
是要表示「意願或未完成」 還是要表示「已知事實或習慣」呢？
