[考題] 這段話單字都很簡單，但翻起來卻好難
It was only my capacity for hard work that saved me from early dismissal,for
I could never stomach speaking to my "betters" with the deference my employer
thought I should assume.
這段話我只大概看的懂前面是在說，
Q1. 因為我的努力工作，所以才沒有很快的被解雇(我這樣翻有誤嗎?)
Q2. 不曉得有沒有高手可以順利翻出來的?
Q3. 那邊的 "betters"指的是什麼阿?
我程度好淺>___< 所以最近一直在努力的想測驗自己
但總是很容易踢到鐵板...
