[文法] 這句話要怎麼 解？
大家好~~
我在書中看到這樣的句子:
"Scientists believe that North American Continent was located
much farther south and east of its position today."
"科學家相信北美大陸(以前)位在比現在位置更東更南的地方。"
請問板上同學，為什麼這句話可以這樣寫??
譬如，
1)為什麼 located 後面 直接用 south and east 是可以的?
這裡south, east 是當副詞來修飾locate的位置吧?
2)承上，那又為什麼south and east後面可以直接加 of... 去修飾?
真是大困惑~~~ 再麻煩大家替我解惑!! 或者一起討論~~
