我的小朋友說要參加演講，拿了一篇文章，要我翻譯，但我的英文不是很溜，盡力翻了，我把中文原稿及我的英文翻譯都PO在這裡，文章很長，但很希望能獲得大家的協助，幫忙指正是否有句子翻譯不通、文法或用字錯誤等。 ************* 標題: What I can do to help the environment? 在我的生活中，媽媽會幫我洗衣服，哥哥姐姐會整理家裡，清潔隊員會打掃大家製造的垃圾。在我的身旁，總是有人隨時會維護好居住的環境，然而，我從未為了保護環境而付出。我能為自己所處的環境做些什麼呢?我可以做到三件事。 In my daily life, my mother does the laundry for me, my sibilings clean the house, and the trash collectors deal with garbage we make. There are many people devote themselves to protecting the environment, whereas, I have done nothing to protect the environment. What can I do to help our environment? There are three things I can do. 第一，搭乘大眾運輸工具。現今，我們有汽車或機車可以去想去的地方。然而，這些交通工具所排放的廢氣，卻污染了我們的環境。搭乘大眾交通工具，不僅可以舒緩阻塞的交通，更減少了廢氣排放。 First, I can take public transportation. In nowadays, we have cars or motorcycles that we can go to any places. However, the emissions of those mobiles pollute air and environment. By taking public transportation, we can not only alleviate traffic jam, but also decrease air pollution. 第二，改變習慣，節約能源。比如，早點熄燈就寢。此外，我還能關掉不使用的電器電源，像是電視以及電腦。更進一步，我會珍惜我所擁有的東西，不丟掉能用的物品。 Second, I can change my habit for saving energy. For example switch off the light and go to bed early. Also, I can turn off any appliances I am not using such as TV and computer. What's more, I will cherish what I have and I won't get rid of stuff that can be used. 最後一點，我可以將物品降低用量、再利用及資源回收。首先，我會帶可重複使用的杯子與餐具，此外，當我去購物時，我會自備環保袋。在倒垃圾前，我會先做好垃圾分類，以減少垃圾量。 Last but not the least, I can reduce, reuse and recycle the items I used. I will start from carry my reusable cup and eating utensils. Moreover, when I go shopping, I will prepare a green bag myself. As to the garbage, I will sort it before I dump it so that we can reduces the trash in landfills. 我認為，有良好的生活環境，大家才能健健康康快快樂樂的生活。從今天起，我要從小地方做努力，如此一來，我們才能有良好的生活與良好的環境。 To sum up, only when we have a great environment can we live in a healthier and happier life.
