[考題] killed 文法問題
這是一篇克漏字，
我截我不懂的那一段請教大家
Becoming better observers of animal
behavior may be the key to surviving
natural disasters.
During the tsunami disaster of 2004,
over 300,000 people died.
No one has counted the number
of animals ___________ ,but we know
that it wasn't many.
空格選項：
(1) killed
(2) had been killed
我選 had been killed，因為我想 動物們是被殺。
had been killed 修飾 前面的aminals.
整句話我的理解是
在2004年那場海嘯，超過三十萬人死亡。
沒有人去數清楚動物的死亡數目,
但是我們知道，數目並不多。
為什麼答案是 killed?
還是 the number of animals killed
有省略什麼字？
