我知道這句話的意思應該是說
"他們的計畫不太可能會成功。"
"他們的計畫成功的機會不太。"
我想問的是此處的meet / meet with
應該作何解釋?

應該是(=succeed or fail) 不是等於failure

LDOCE:
meet with success/failure (=succeed or fail)

OALD:
meet with something
1 to be received or treated by somebody in a particular way
Her proposal met with resistance from the Left.
to meet with success/failure
2 to experience something unpleasant
She was worried that he might have met with an accident.
看起來這片語還不錯用 有機會用在寫作上 可能可以添色不少
英文單字多 但片語更多 怎麼都越學越多啊??^_^
