[考題] 英文文法

答案為(b)，但我以為 price 加了 s，所以 price 為可數名詞，
而可數名詞搭配者為 few，而不是 less ?
2. I can't afford ______ a new car.
(a) buying (b) buy (c) to buy (d) bought
答案為 (a)，我以為 afford to V，而非動名詞？
3. The size of a horse's eyes is larger than _______.
(a) a mouse's (b) those of a mouse
(c) that of a mouse's (d) that of a mouse
答案為 (d)，但我以為原句為 than (the size) of a mouse's (eyes)
所以我選 (c)
這三題讓我實在百思不得其解......

不過關於fewer than & less than，我找到以下說法(僅一篇)
他提到fewer當形容詞，但less可當副詞，所以沒有fewer than的說法?
不知是否合理？
