[文法] 詞典中的"by passion not common sense"
大家好,請問一下。
在Cambridge Business English Dictionary看到這樣的例句:
pain and suffering
noun
in the US legal system, the emotional suffering caused by one person or
organization to another person:
He claimed the jury's pain-and-suffering award of $15.5 million was motivated
by passion not common sense.

想問的是"...by passion not common sense "這裡,是不是要加上一個逗號,寫成
"...by passion, not common sense "比較好?
因為讀的時候總覺得,"...was motivated by passion"到這裡都就已經很完整了,如果
再直接加上" not common sense "就好像多出來的。而從語氣來看,好像也會有停頓才對
?(....是出自於激情,而非常理)
