[文法] 省略主詞疑問
在做passive voice題目(azar 4the p226)遇到幾個問題，想請問各位 :
1.In the mechanical process, [someone grinds the wood] into small chips.
[wood is ground ]
想請問[]的wood是否缺了the，我知道前面如果提及過的事物到下個句子要the(指定)，
因為原句是有the的所以不應該是被省略的，還是因為被動的關係呢? 想問是不是答案有誤
2.[Someone drains the pulp] to form a thick mass, [bleaches it] with chlorine,
[The pulp is drained ] [is breached]
and then [thoroughly washes it] again.
[is thoroughly washed]
依照[]中，好像有主詞省略的用法，前面章節沒有講到這部分，只有講到主詞一致用代名
詞替代，是因為代名詞用太多次不想再用所以直接省略掉，還是有其他用法呢?
主動的部分省略someone，而被動可以省略by someone因為不重要，不過主詞好像不能省
略? 請問各位該怎麼思考?
