這句話的中文翻譯是：
走到一樓，只見他跪在客廳地板上，兩隻手在沙發墊子底下摸來摸去。
這句話我光看英文猜不到它中文是這樣的意思，
on his knees多少可以想到是跪著，
但最後那句feeling under the couch cushions就想不到了。
請問這句英文是否有作省略呢？是否可以改寫成語意更清楚的句子？
