[求譯] 請問這句這樣翻意思對不對已刪文
英文不好但在看某本英文書，不確定意思對不對，
想請教的是以下第三段的文意，為方便釐清附上前面兩段。
We can have difficulty showing emotion.
We learned very early that it was not permitted to express emotions.
Our bad emotions such as anger or hurt – especially if she was the one
causing the anger or hurt –were definitely notallowed.
Even if the problem lay elsewhere – a skinned knee, a disappearing
boyfriend – she most likely didn’t want us annoying her with our upset.

The only way it would be permitted would be if she was feeding off the drama
of it, and in that case we probably didn’t feel comfortable expressing those
emotions as we knew somehow the response was wrong.
表達情感唯一能被允許的方式可能是，當表達情感的戲劇性能成為她的餌食，
而且在那種情況下當我們表達那些情緒時或許不會感到自在，
因為不知為何我們知道這個反應是錯的。

我還以為the response是指自己對遇到一些事的情緒，
原來是指自己表現情緒之後對方("她")允許我們表現情緒這件事嗎？
受教了!感恩!!
這本書作者當時有做一個網站收集網友們的血淚經驗談，
後來總結起來出書。
