Re: [Intr] Hello~
※ 引述《jsca30001 (Jessica)》之銘言:
: well...that's the point.
: We all speak Chinese when we meet
: so that make me feel weird to speak English with them.
: Not only in our school,
: there are so many Chinese shops, supermarkets, etc in the city
: ATM, driver's guide, bart inforation...all have Chinese translation.
: So actually you can live here with out learning English.
: I do want to make foreign friends
: (that's one of the reasons I want to come here,
: I think lots of Americans are handsome...ha)
: but they all talk to themselves or look not very frendly
: I don't know what to say
: even in Chinese I'm not very good at communicating
i have the same problem too
sometimes i often think that i am such a boring person
how can i chat with people in English when i can't even be a good speaker
when chat in Chinese?
I tried to force myself chat with my English teacher, who is an American
but i'll always feel frustrated after the conversation.
the reason is i thought i wasn't doing good enough
though i can understand the humour he said
and wanna show him that I understood what he said,
or even want to react in a humour way ...
but all of a sudden, the only thing comes up in my mind is
"YES..." "WOW..." "HAHA..really!?"...
soon.......the conversation is over =.="
when think back the conversation in Chinese,
then i realize there are so many things or topics to talk about
Commuication needs time and experience to improve,
you have the surroundings and lots of foreigners around
it is for sure that you will overcome it!
: But thanks for your suggestion anyway,
: I feel very happy when I saw someone reply my artical.
: I will try to talk to foreigner even if it's very hard for me.
