the tone of voice
eye contact
body language,faical expression
and a bit of humor

Two names that showed up in my mind are: Jay Leno, and NONO(chinese).
though they have a major difference of history, and the kind of shows they
host,
...but I just like them.
They are very entertaining, they also keep their guests entertained.
