Well...Lots of reading seams a good way to improve ur language skill However, that was my past opinion. Now, i whould rather to watch BBC/Discovery to make it. In my opinoin, language is the way ppl communicate and it is mostly conveyed by TALKING/SPEAKING. If you want to learn some more vacabuary, find the way how they would be used in real life is more useful than how it is written in the book. Also, the more accurate way is to know the pronounciation first then u could spell it while u speak that word. However, it all depends on ur own English skill now. If you wanna concertrate on critical writing. Lots of reading whould help but the risk is that u might lose the ability to do this(critical speaking) when u face to face. That is my personal experience. There is no short cut to improve a language ability, the only way is get used to it and i believe that you rarely get used to something by just read it but not put into practice. Well, my english is not very good as well but i believe this way should work -- 嘴筋那麼厲害 幹麻不去選總統 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 203.206.39.2
