i must say that rain is inconvenient in many ways.
however, rain brings back many memories....
nothing is more enjoyable than sitting on the verandah
and listening to the rain showering down on the roof.
it seems to be a comforting sound, hypnotic in a way.
when i was a child,
i used to fall asleep in bed listening to the sound of rain,
and whenever i had trouble falling asleep, the sound of water
droplets hitting the rooftop could put me to sleep in an instant!
its amazing how comforting rain can be
yet its so inconvenient to have to wear raincoats every time we
want to go outdoors.
in spite of all this, i still love rain!
