The Internet, which means the publicly accessible worldwide system of
interconnected computer networks that transmit data by packet switching using a
standardized Internet Protocol, has become widespread and played an essential
role in the modern world since it was invented by Tim Bernes Lee. Now we almost
can't live without the help of the internet because only by making a fairly
great amount of data transmissions can we live a colorful life now and keep the
society well-ordered. However, everything has itsreverse side, and the internet
is no exception. The more we rely on one thing, the more dangerous it is after
being abused by people. Too much freedom of the internet may cause great
dangers.
One of the most significant dangers is that the distribution of
people's personal informations may lead to the exposure of them. Although all
personal informaitons are claimed to be kept secret, the potential dangers are
still fearful for people, though the illicit collaborations between data owner
and evildoers are hard to be detected. Besides, the duplication and the illicit
dispersion of pirated softwares and the downloading of all sorts of files via
the internet are the hurts to the creator's efforts, which are dangerous to the
long-term to the culture and the development of the country. Furthermore, too
much freedom may bring about more attacks done by hackers, because there are
more means for them to assault the internet systems under fewer limitations.
Although the dangers of the freedom of the internet may be numerous,
the better way to face is to confront them with determination and take good
measures or improve the techniques in order to cope with them instead of
depriving people's rights of freedom of the internet. For example, writing
better programs to monitor internet attacks and those computers that attack to
others are good for it. Besides, the government needs to stipulate well for the
purpose of diminishing the abuses to the least. In conclusion, in the modern
time our life depends on the internet, which link all people's lives with each
other.The freedom of the internet should be controlled well by taking faultless
measures. If so, the freedom of the danger of the internet can be avoided.
