Dreams seem to reflect some anxiety underlying deep in my daily life, a concept I didn't quite believe until recently. About three weeks ago or so, I dreamt I was in my rented apartment, slightly different than now but the resemblance was uncanny, and I walked up to the third floor where I in reality had hardly frequented. There I saw a rusty, broken railing, painted in red, just outside a half-open slide door. Most of the railings were gone, and the rest seemed not far from falling either. Beside it there was one shoe, yes just one brown shoe, sit on the protuding part of the balcony. The other one, after I looked around, was down under another building's roof, dangling in the air as if another falling was on about to happen before my eye. I backed off out of my fear of falling down and went up yet another story. On the forth floor, which not able to be located in my building, was almost the same as the third floor, except there was an empty room with its door open. Too scared to enter the room, I tried to withdraw to my own room, I was surprised to learn there was a faceless monkey sitting near the stairway. Suffice it to say, I was scared my pants off and ran immediately for the narrow stairs, only to find there's another faceless monkey running towards me. But I managed to escape to my room, and that was the time I woke up. I told this to my classmate and one of them said to me this dream probally says much about the fact that I remain aimless in my life. I the recalled a bunch of my other classmates discussing about leaving the school for work while all I do was to be harbored for another three years. Maybe I was suppressing how I really felt and procrastinating for as long as possible. And yesterday another bizzard dream occurred in whcih I was guarding an entrance to a passage leading toward a dangerous bridge. But my ignorance had resulted in several people getting in, and consequently broken the bridge. The bridge then dropped to the water and caused a tsunami. (I know it's ridiculous, how could a lake or river could cause this.) Anyway, the mystery of this dream remains unsolved. Just do any of you had this kind of dreams that you thought mignt be associate with your real life anxiety? -- But in real life, you're not properly lit and there's no soundtrack. --Jack -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.174.196.242
