That is exactly what I do!
you know what? I love movies and TV series. My favorite TV sequel is Friends.
I kept mimicing their saying and body expressions, because they were just
too funny! XDDDDD
Soon I can understand lots of native speakers' slang. Time after time, I can
catch up the pace of the DJ in ICRT! Yo~YO~
But still, I need more practice. Indeed, the best way to learn a language
well is immersion!
Yo~I learned a lot of nasty words also. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
