I'm not entirely sure as to the motive of posting this article here... First of all, some technical things. It would be much easier to read if there were paragraphs and it was properly aligned. Chances are, readers may be more accepting of an article, if simply because it is easier on the eyes. With that out of the way. Seeing as this is a sensitive subject, it is best to let the readers know why you would write/post something like this. Is it the anniversary of a certain event, or is it to commemorate a person or simply a release of some pent-up emotion? Having your motive known may help the readers empathize with your point of view. I'm guessing from the final sentence, you're somewhat indignant that a person who has supposedly committed such atrocities is in the employ of the US, whom supposedly is a nation that support human rights and does not condone such actions. Another thing is that there are quite a few accusations in this article. It would be essential to reference or cite sources regarding such statements. One, to make the article that more convincing, and two, to provide a basis for reasonable debate. I'm not sure how many Japanese users use PTT, but if they were to stumble upon this article, they could be inflamed by such blanket accusations without proper references. I for one don't know much about these things save for what I've been taught in school, and I've learned that many things that are taught in school aren't entirely neutral nor always truthful. People and nations have done horrible things to fellow human beings, in the past, right now in the present, and perhaps so, but hopefully won't, in the future. For me, reading history and articles like these serve to remind me that there are those capable of untold evil and perhaps some should do something to prevent such things from happening, ever again. But (the following here is my opinion) there is really no country in the world right now that can claim absolute moral authority and criticize other nations of wrongdoings. Not Japan, not China, and not even the US. Sad world we live in now, huh? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 210.69.49.253
