※ 引述《YangQow0648 (= =)》之銘言: : : Especially since I'm always studying Japanese these days. : ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ : I know there may hav some "conflict" between these 2 language.... : (I think the reason may be the fact that we dont curl our tongue while : speaking Japanese which kind of contradict the way when we speak English : or what.?) : anyway, I still believe that it should not be a problem obstructing one's : ambition to dominate both English and Japanese!!! ha~~ : Best Regard!!! In fact I had been learning both German and Japanese at the same time under an English speaking environment (not to mention English is not my first language) I know German and Japanese are COMPLEEEETLY different languages...but as I departed from my German lessons to go for my Japanese I could not help but mix the two, no matter it's the grammar or the vocabulary. (So I often got my tongue twisted when I tried to speak Japanese to my teacher...coz all I got in my brain were nothing but Ich Zeit Du Sie Das etc.. LMAO!) So I guess in some ways, though there is a specific area in our right brain that deals with languages the area is kind of a United Nation...as in it's a cocktail with all ingredients there I imagine. To be honest even till now when I've already stopped my German and Japanese studies, when I speak in Chinese I could not help but blend in some characteristics of the other languages...and sometimes I think in another language so I'd have to translate it back to Chinese that it comes out really weird... and when I type in Chinese my friends point out that it's more of an English-grammar-style of Chinese that I use..and I realise it's true LOL. OK, it's more like my Chinese that has been deteriorating...god but i'm yellow and I love the language and the culture and all that! Anyways just wanna point out that it's normal (at least my case) to be mixing languages along, especially when the languages are happening inside your brain LOL But, to be fair, it takes time to have your brain adjust to switching into various languages...you'll be fine, good luck with learning Japanese and keeping up with your English! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 78.86.164.231 ※ 編輯: yufani 來自: 78.86.164.231 (04/30 21:13)
