I saw the video in the website "TED". The speaker is a scientist who recovered from the stroke. She talked about that experience in detail such as how she felt at the very moment, how every part of body functions. She used the metaphor "Nirvana" to describe how she felt when the stroke inundated a half her body. I just wonder that isn't it a sepcail term of Buddism? I didn't know there is a socalled "Nirvana" in the western culture. Is it same as "heaven"? I don't have so much cognition on the Buddism doctrine. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.212.197
