making friends with Caucasians is not so difficult. ^_*
Language is just a tool; you must enrich the content
of topics you try to say.
Which country is your friend from?
Do you try to 'study' and understand everything about
his country, hometown, the culture, scenery of his residence, etc?
It would be fine if you start the conversations with
the topics related to Taiwan, but it will be more impressive
if you can talk more about something that your friend is familiar
with.
Also, try to use correct speelling and grammar as possible as
you can. Everyone has his own unique accent, but accuracy of
using languages can be practiced and enhanced.
To sum up, try to show your interest in everything that happens
to him and 'study' it. Read more English materials and
you could construct the English sentences and think in English
gradually.
