[Mind] About a movie
Recently, a major discussion about education in Taiwan is the bullying
phenomenon, which means that students (even teachers) force the violence of
body and language. People focus on this problem because of the news that a
school president covered bullying causing teachers’ remonstrance. At the
same time, a Japan Movie called “ Confessions” was also displayed in
theaters. It’s a story about the teacher whose daughter was killed by two of
her students wanted to revenge on these two by inciting the others. The
students in the film were cruel and without sympathy, but the cases shown
that the students’ terrible action related to their background. The movie
shows that unfortunate family experiences made their deviation, and also
inspires us to think our education in family and school.
