I'm just reading some recap and comments about the TV series "Glee" (Hope somebody here would like it as I do...) and a phrase in the paragraph confused me a bit, "Last December the New Directions were pretty much pulse-free as they sang "Do They Know It’s Christmas?" – a song about homeless, hungry and disadvantaged people – at a shelter full of homeless, hungry and disadvantaged people. Talk about bringing down the room." Judging from the context, I can get that the "bring down the room" is kind of similar as "to make something in harmony" or "to make the world better", I just wanna make sure, is it really what I'm thinking about? this phrase is kinda rare to me...thanks. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.218.123
