昨天看到這題，題目是
In 1914 a total of 469,000 cars and trucks were produced in the
united states,but in 1929 almost twice the number of trucks alone came

B. that number of trucks alone
C. the number of trucks by themselves
D. as many trucks themselves
E. as many trucks by themselves
DE我根據AS many as 這點做刪除
C的話 alone 比 by themselves concise 所以做刪除
就剩下AB做比較，我以為twice the number會比twice that
來的好選A 結果是 B
請問有人可以幫我說明一下麻?
