[問題] 一題PREP的數學問題

這一題我有點不懂
In the x y-plane, what is the y-intercept of the line L
(1) The slop of line L is 3 times its y-intercept.
(2) The x-intercept of line L is -1/3
這一題我不懂的是 選項 2
the x intercept of line L 不是就代表著在 y=ax+b 的式子裡面 y = 0 x = -1/3
然後如果你把 式子 y 代 0 去算 ,
0 = ax+b
=> ax=-b
=> x= -b/a =-1/3 這樣不是就可以求出了嗎 答案是E是因為我們不知b 是負的
還是 a 是負的嗎??
