engine or a 4-cylinder engine and with either a manual transmission or an
automatic transmission. A trailer hitch is also offered, but only on a station
wagon with a 6-cylinder engine. How many combinations of the fice option listed
does the manufacturer offer for its station wagon?

答案是(d)6 但是我選(b)4
我會選b的算法如下
配置6-cylinder:1(限定是6-cylinder)x2(manual/automatic)x1(hitch)=2
配置4-cylinder:1(限定是4-cylinder)x2(manual/automatic)=2
2+2=4
但答案是
2(6- or 4-cylinder)x2(manual/automatic)=4
1(限定是6-cylinder)x2(manual/automatic)x1(hitch)=2
4+2=6
但是我在想其中的2不會重複計算嗎?因為配6-cylinder的也會配hitch...
如果依照解答的解法的話..
從題目哪裡可以看出來搭配是可以再分6-cylinder有或沒有hitch呢?
