Many entomologists say that campaigns to eradicate the fire ant in the
United States have failed because the chemicals that were used were effective
only in wiping out the ant’s natural enemies, which made it easier for them

(A) which made it easier for them
(B) which makes it easier for it
小弟有一個問題,不知道這兩個選項是否可以用"代名詞只能代替先行詞,
而無法代替前面所敘述之抽象事件"這樣的觀念來解決呢?
還是我只能用後面的them以及it來解這兩個選項呢?
