我試著解釋看看 如果有錯還請指正 :). Ron所表達的是 如果 VERBing 本身就是 preposition 中的 object. （以原文來看即 having 是 the thesis 所要指的 object）. 那麼 of NOUN VERBing 這樣的結構就會有問題. 因為在 "of"
