關心主詞動詞和邏輯關係就好, 然後重組一下題目:
researchers "____" to "narrowly circumscribed" topics ~ suited to
"quantitative" methods By ____ scientific rigor with a "quantitative"
approach"
兩個"quantitative"在句中的邏輯是連續而不是對立的(by)
因此researchers是"limited"在那些符合quantitative的xxx上(method, appraoch etc)
故第一個只要是肯定的動詞即可 "identifying" would be great.
