1) A telephone company offers a special service to suctomers
who make long-distance call. For an additional monthly charge of
$8, all long-distance charges in excess of $16 for a month are reduced
by 50%. If a customer has long-distance charge of $48 for one month
without the special service, how much would the sudtomer have
saved if using the special service?

2)If 6 gallons of gasline added to a tank that is already filled to
3/4 of its capacity, the tank is then filled to 9/10 of its capacity.
問:The number of galloms of gasline the tank can hold to capacity?
