remonstrate: a protest or complaint about something
syllogism: a formal argument in logic that is formed by two statements and
a conclusion which must be true if the two statements are true
From Merriam-Webster's Advanced Learner's Dictionary
A remonstrate "attacks" something unfair just as a syllogism "disapproves"
something illogical.
