不過他們[應該是指立法者]鮮少注意到另一個對立且更危險的缺失[由後文可推測另一
種問題是對自己太沒信心，即使有足夠的證據還是懷疑自己，不過這還是好過太相信
自己]：不當的信心，拒絕承認自己的錯誤並默告天下說(i)自己一定不會錯。這會讓
國家丟盡顏面並有損憲法，憲法設立各種自我校正機制的前提是即便是最有智慧之人，有
時也會犯錯且需要一個(iii)補救措施之助，特別當他們發現憲法[it]最(ii)令人費解的
時候。[我猜想是指憲法有時太過含糊需要解讀，例如大法官釋憲。]
大致翻一下，我覺得比較不清楚的部分是最後it這個代名詞所指為何。
