Call for papers
The Generative Grammar Circle will host the 28th Seoul International
Conference on Generative Grammar (SICOGG 28) at Chungnam National University
in Daejeon Aug 10-12, 2026. The theme for SICOGG28 is Syntax and its
interfaces in Generative Grammar. We invite abstracts on this or any topic
within the framework of generative grammar, which may include syntactic theory
, the syntax-pragmatics interface, the syntax-semantics interface, the syntax-
morphology interface, the syntax-phonology interface, syntactic acquisition,
and any other topic related to generative grammar.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts are to be submitted to

Follow the online guidelines to upload your abstract. Only electronic
submissions through the aforementioned link will be considered. Abstracts must
be anonymous and may not exceed 2 pages (A4), including examples (embedded
within the text) but not references, with 2.54 cm (1 inch) margin on all four
sides and should employ 12 point Times New Roman font. As references do not
count toward the page limit, you are requested to include a full list of
references on a third page. Submissions are limited to a maximum of one
individual and one joint abstract per author, or two joint abstracts per
author. Please indicate whether the submitted work is proposed for a poster,
an oral presentation, or either. Abstracts must be submitted no later than May
10th, 2026. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection on or after
June 07, 2026. Oral presentations are 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for
discussion.
Important Note on OpenReview Accounts
Please note that newly created OpenReview profiles without an institutional
email address are subject to a moderation process, which may take up to two
weeks. Profiles created with an institutional email address are typically
activated automatically. Authors are therefore strongly encouraged to create
or update their OpenReview profiles well in advance of the submission deadline

Proceedings
The conference will post unpublished online proceedings on this website prior
to the conference.
Detailed instructions regarding the submission of proceedings will be
announced separately after acceptance notifications have been issued.
