The main colloquium will feature two types of oral presentation (long presentations, max. 40 minutes, and shorter presentations, max. 25 minutes, each followed by a 10-minute question-and-answer period), and a wide selection of posters. Abstract submissions are limited to a maximum of one single- authored and one co-authored abstract per person. Please note that submitting the same abstract to both the main colloquium and one or more of the workshops is not permitted. On 25 March, there will be three workshops in parallel sessions. The topics of the three workshops are the following: - phonology, morphology, and their interactions - the syntax, semantics, and acquisition of control phenomena - the morphosyntax and semantics of clausal hypotaxis Each workshop will feature a selection of 25-minute oral presentations, each with a 10-minute question-and-answer period. PLEASE NOTE that the deadline for submission of abstracts to both the main colloquium and the three workshops is 1 November 2026. This deadline will not be extended. Abstracts for both the main colloquium and the three workshops should be submitted as fully anonymized PDF documents that do not exceed two single- spaced pages (A4 with 2.5 cm margins or US letter with 1 inch margins on all sides), including examples, references and tables/figures, in a font no smaller than 12pt Times New Roman. Abstracts should be submitted on the Oxford Abstracts platform, accessible via the following link: https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/83205/submitter The main colloquium, the poster sessions, and the three workshops will be held at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon (Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa), located in the Cidade Universitária campus (Campo Grande area).
