AIM Associate
Job Purpose/Role
This position will serve as a key role within the general account investment
management team of Allianz Investment Management - US.
The individual will support ALM functions along with investment managers
for the P&C and Life businesses and serve as a key liaison on
cross-functional efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Support ALM functions, principally owning the Transfer Portfolio processes.
Support investment and risk functions in transition to Solvency II framework.
Serve as key investment management liaison for competitive intelligence and
analysis.
Provide analytical support to P&C and Life investment managers.
Ongoing participation within local and global monitoring teams.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, business or other
relevant degree.
Preferred: MBA, CFA or FSA
Work Experience
Required:
3-5 years of applicable investment experience;
Demonstrated capital markets expertise; with a fixed income focus;
Strong communication and analytical skills;
Modeling experience;
Willingness to work within a global environment;
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proven background in fixed income securities;
Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Proven success working in a team environment;
Demonstrated ability to work within rapidly changing business
