Test Engineer (Supplier Quality Engineering Sec.) - Entry Level
Primary Responsibility
Independently or working with a team, you will be validating test platforms,
performing Audit/GRR/Calibration/Debugging on testing related fixtures.
This may include creating test plans, testing software/hardware writing test
procedures, and creating/maintaining process documentation. You will also
provide support and training for test related activities for production
on NPI and Sustaining stage.
Responsibilities
1) Troubleshooting electromechanical machines.
Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and
testing methods; testing properties.
2) Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer
requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods
and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
3) Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment
for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
4) Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods;
testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication,
assembly, and installation processes.
5) Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
information and trends.
6) Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair
services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures;
requesting special services.
7) Maintains system and product data base by writing computer programs and
entering data. Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
Desired skills and experience
1) Preference is for an engineering degree from an accredited course of study in
Electrical or Electronics Engineering in Bachelor Degree or in related
discipline with relevant experience.
Language in native Mandarin is a plus.
2) Ability to work in facility environment.
3) Ability to travel out of the US.
