: 3. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Most experiences : in our lives that seemed difficult at the time become valuable lessons : for the future. Use reasons and specific examples to support your : answer. I agree with the statement that most seeming difficult experiences in our lives are valuable. An old saying goes"No pain, no gain." One benefits the most when he struggles with difficulties. Take mysele for example. I have some sweet memories with the tough times I had. When in college, I joined a service club. Members in this club frequently held activities. Thus, we had many meetings and preparation before the activity began. Though everyone was passionate, we argued sometimes. While there were some different opinions about the activity, we spend a great deal of time negotiating. Most of the time, we would continued working smoothly and happily as we always did. Such an experience made the activity more meaningful to us. Up to now, when talking about those times, we still see them as sweet and worthy of our efforts. On the contrary, experiences about falures are more valuable lessons. I am always confident of my English ability. However, when I was a freshman in the college, I failed to pass an English class. It was shocking to me, because I never thought that I would get such grades in an English class. Then I realized that it was bacause I didn't work hard enough. After that, I spent lots of time reading English textbooks and listening to English radio. Besides, I attended almost every class and finished all the homework in time. Consequently, I did a pretty good job in all classes. I was working so hard because of the lessons the failure had taught me. The influences are so lasting that when doing anything nowadays, I am as careful and confident as possible. In short, difficult experiences, whether good or bad, are really suggestive lessons. Once our attitude toward the difficulties is positive, they are always best teachers, silent though. ======================================================================= I was really busy and kind of troubled preparing TOFEL, which will be held on July 12th, and GRE. Wish I'll see these days as sweet lessons after October. ※ 編輯: philJamy 來自: 59.121.117.115 (06/16 21:11)
