Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Advertising can tell
you a lot about a country. Use specific reasons and examples to support your
answer.

In today's world inundated with media, advertisement really plays an
important role in our life. Some people think that those advertisement
producers are liars who always avoid telling the truth and make us to do some
irrational action. However, I believe that we can often receive some
important messages about a country from the advertisements. My supporting
ideas are as below and illustrate why it is.
To begin with, take the famous TV producer, SONY, as example, we can always
see some SONY advertisements in our life, and the style of SONY advertisement
is always Japan style. Sometimes, though the major purpose of SONY
advertisement is to promote the product, TV, the main way of the
advertisement is to describe some Japanese ritual or ceremony. In the case,
we can know some special things happened in Japanese ceremony, like firework
and traditional clothes. In fact, in our life, many Japanese companies always
do the similar advertisements, so we can understand Japanese culture more and
clear by those advertising actions.
Additionally, we always call Dubai which is a diamond in a vast desert, but
how to know the tiny but shiny diamond in a vast desert? By some
advertisements, the sail hotel of Dubai is most of the most special hotel in
the world, and we always see some advertisements of sail hotel in some Travel
Channel. In the case, we will also get some information about Dubai.
Furthermore, sometimes we also can see some advertisements about Dubai Tower
which the highest building in the future, so we also have the chance to know
some characteristics of Dubai. Moreover, Dubai is popular topic in Discovery
Channel, and Discovery Channel always do some small videos as some
advertising videos in order to promote their TV program. Therefore, we know
more and more details about Dubai from those advertisements.
In conclusion, some people believe that the advertisements are harmful for
people's consuming action, and the advertisements always cause people to buy
more than they really need. On the other hand, there are some advantages
existed in those advertisements. We can know something interesting in a
country by seeing those advertisements. If no advertisements, we will lose
some important accesses to understand some culture in the World.
