Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. They should be discernible and independent enough to judge the contribution of their teachers. In addition, the contacts between students and teachers are most straightforward. So, the assessment of abilities of teachers by students will truly reflect the effort of teachers. Following would explain why I support this thought in detail. Everyday, students spend a lot of time in the school listening and learning from the classes. Interaction between students and teachers takes a large portion of the time. So, teachers are supposed to understand their students, and vice versa. Students would clearly identify teachers’ attitude and contribution of their work. Even they sometimes gather together to discuss the advantages and shortages of a teacher. I guess no one could understand teachers more than students in the school. As a result, assessment of students could be reliable. In addition, if this evaluation is taken as a feedback from students to their teachers, any mistake or deficit of tuition could be correct immediately. As mentioned above, the students are those affected by their teachers most directly. Both students and teachers could work together to enhance the efficiency of teaching. Though there are a lot of education experts outside schools, I guess this brainstorming could find out the best solution of education. To sum up, the reason why I support the evaluation of students is that everyone in the school should be capable of such ability. That’s why we send the students to schools: learning to distinguish between right and wrong. Meanwhile, I believe their responses should be entrusted because they are the ones understanding their teachers most. Their reply could be accountable to figure out the best model to enhance teachers’ work. -- -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.117.141.33
