Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People behave
differently when they wear different clothes. Do you agree that different
clothes influence the way people behave? Use specific examples to support
your answer.
In my opinion, I agree with the statement that people have different behavior
when they wear different clothes because the size and the flexibility of
clothes do affect the motion of body. In other words, people would wear
various clothes according to what they are going to do. They wear formally in
a working place and put on comfortable T-shirt at their leisure time.
Following statement would suggest some examples to support my point of view..
Basically, before we go to work in the morning everyday, we usually think
which pants and clothes to wear. Of course, the first consideration is to
wear officially since we are going to work, not going to shopping. At this
moment, clean and formal dresses are the first priority. Once we put on such
clothes, our mind and body languages would turn to reveal messages such as, “
we are ready to work.” It is ridiculous for a person wearing who is uniform
to dance and jump on his or her way to office.
Besides wearing suitable shirt and pants for work, it is equally important to
wear comfortable T-shirts and jeans at one’s leisure time. Now, since it is
the time to relax and enjoy, it is awful to put on those fitting in the body
and even restricting our movement. It is also uncomfortable and dangerous if
you wear inappropriate clothes to play basketball or baseball. Again, it is
the function of clothes that limit people under certain circumstances.
In a word, sometimes the motivation of people would alter their decision in
choosing clothes to wear. As mentioned above, clean and formal appearance in
office plays an important role in the first case. Also, the schedule and plan
also dominate people what to wear next, as in a sport game like basketball.
No matter what reasons, clothes do influence the people’s action.
