[Work] build a new university
The government has announced that it plans to build a new university. Some
people think that your community would be a good place to locate the
university. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of establishing a new
university in your community. Use specific details in your discussion.

There might be an important controversy centering on the issue that it’s a
good news or bad news that the government wants to build a new university
near our community. One school of though attributes that residents will be
beneficial because of more opportunities of job; however, some group point
to different possibilities. They support the view that the population will
be too dense after constituting a university. In my opinion, I prefer the
former perspective and my reasons for this point will be shed light on as
follows.
The firs advantage of building a new university would bring more opportunities
of job to my community. It not only benefits original residents but also
gather more people to immigrate in the community. If this scale of community is
very small in the beginning, the inflow of students and faculties would make
it more flourishing. Besides, the government would distribute more money in
local infrastructures, just like constituting libraries or transportation.
Either the population or the cultivation of this place will be elevated.
On the other side of coin, more people represent a problem – too crowded in
the community. Building a new university might result in densely populated
suddenly. If the authorities concerned do not set up a series of rules to
regulate crowded people, the environment there would be in a chaos and the
crime rate would probably increase. Because universities are open areas,
general public could get in and out casually, including t thieves. Hence,
the police must petrol the campuses inside and pay more attention to
universities.
According to the above-mentioned, only through the concerned efforts of
authorities and the people can the problem of dense population be resolved.
I strongly believe that the advantages of setting a new university transcend
upon the disadvantages.
