For example, a point on the equator travels the : whole distance around the sphere (about 40,000 kilometers), : whereas a point near the poles will travel a much shorter distance. : Therefore, we can say that the linear speed of a point depends : on its latitude above or below the equator. : Thus the actual linear speed of a point on the surface is faster : the nearer that point is to the equator. : 題目問： : We can infer that rotation velocity is : a) the same as speed in kph : b) different at different latitudes : c) the same as different latitudes : d) dependent on latitude : 答案是C，我看了好久還是搞不懂到底速度和緯度的關係是怎樣， : 已經轉了很久，貼上來看看有沒有人可以給一點靈光一閃，多謝！ rotation velocity = 旋轉速度or角速度意思是一秒轉幾圈 linear speed = 線速度意思是一秒跑多遠(直線) 地球的角速度不管在哪都是一樣的(都是一天轉一圈) 可是每個緯度因為距離地軸的距離(旋轉半徑)不同所以切線速度都不一樣高緯度的速度低(半徑小) 低緯度的速度高(半徑大) 今天如果有個物體從低緯度往高緯度飛過去因為低緯度時的切線速度比高緯度的地表切線速度大所以相對於高緯度的地表就多走了一點就會造成(以北半球為例)往高緯度跑的東西會偏右這就是Coriolis force(科氏力) 所以看回到題目 rotation velocity是？ a)跟speed是一樣的單位是kph X 角速度跟線速度不一樣而且單位是rad/s b)不同緯度不同 X 只要在同一顆地球上角速度都一樣的 c)不同緯度仍相同 O d)與緯度相關 X 與緯度相關的是linear speed 這題b跟d其實意思是一樣的所以這兩個都不可能希望有解答到你的問題 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.45.179.37
